Once the FIP Action Plan is complete, the next step is to begin implementing the activities. It is important to coordinate among the fishery stakeholders and the consultant to ensure that each activity is effectively completed.
During the implementation stage, the stakeholders implement the FIP action plan according to their roles and responsibilities assigned in Stage 2,the fishery starts to take action towards addressing its shortcomings and begins tracking its progress within a set time frame. This stage includes: implementing activities in the workplan, tracking and reporting on progress, and course correcting if needed.
